Alicia Witt was a musician from her earliest onscreen days, even if she's better known as an actor, composer, musician or singer. She began her career as a piano player and then recorded an album titled Alicia in the year 2009. The record showcased the clear influence of Elton John and Billy Joel. Also, it featured a warm, powerful voice. Revisionary History was her first studio album. The album was co-produced by Ben Folds. It was followed by a series of albums such as 2021's The Conduit, which marked her first time as a co-producer.
